Jackson Area Red Cross Emergency Preparedness Conference

Description

The Shake, Rattle and Roll Emergency Preparedness Conference will offer a variety of courses designed for executive-level managers, owners and employees of small to medium size businesses, nonprofits, educators, emergency management officials, emergency responders, security and governmental administration. A $15 registration fee will reserve participant space for the conference. The fee will provide lunch and conference materials. Deadline to register is March 10, 2011. In addition to conference courses, free mini workshops and exhibitions will be open to the public starting at 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Exhibitor and workshop participants include: Madison County Emergency Management, CERT, National Weather Service, Central US Earthquake Consortium, Amateur Radio Operators, American Red Cross, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, Salvation Army, Southern Baptist, Jackson Energy Authority, City of Jackson Fire Department, and Madison County Fire Department.
